Civil disobedience

Once again, we are called to Civil disobedience.

When a rouge Supreme Court is not freeing, it’s impeding us.

When fascistic Justices rule against human rights,

we shouldn’t obey unfair laws made in spite

of our Founders’ intent, to improve and progress.

They wanted our future evolved, not regressed.

The constitution was meant to expand.

Originalists want to go back and to ban

inalienable rights, that they now ignore.

For fifty years settled, now settled, no more.

Body autonomy again must be won.

Without it, freedom can never be done.

Freedom to marry whoever you love.

Freedom to vote for your choice or for none.

Freedom to travel where you want to go.

Freedom to learn what you want to know.

Dr. King taught what we shouldn’t accept.

Laws that infringe on our rights won’t be kept!

“Color Blind”🌈

Unsplash

A poem I read, said people of color, who protest and stand up for their race,

create more racism which carries it further, so should stop standing up and embrace

what the “color blind” say: “Skin colors don’t matter, we only see what’s deep inside.”

“If people of color would all get together and simply choose to decide

that racism’s over and everyone’s equal; stop saying their rights are denied,

then those stops by the cops that sometimes turn lethal would end when they start to comply.”

Why can’t they feel how demeaning it is to say racial abuse is their fault?

Do they really not see how obscene this shit is, if denied, it all comes to a halt?

Unconscious denial keeps racism going, and repesses white privileged shame.

They prefer “color blindness” and denial of not knowing they’re giving survivors the blame.

When we finally atone for enslaving black people and heal racist systems we’ll find,

without shame we’ll embrace diversity’s colors, celebrate we are not color blind.🌈

Where Phoenix’s rise!

Unsplash

“Your body my choice!”, screams the deranged.

We’re hoarse, with no voice, screaming for change.

We’ve always been prey, still hunted for sport.

Made legal today by a rogue Supreme Court.

Women were wronged, Roe wasn’t forever.

For years the Court longed to kill it together

with marriage rights given to LGBTQ.

And the Civil rights fight we thought won, they’ll kill too.

So now we must grieve our world of delusion.

Our whole ninth amendment they ruled was illusion.

We must face this dark night and fully surrender

to know we have intrinsic rights, and remember,

they can’t give or take inalienable rights.

The Court we thought gave them then took back in spite,

must now face our Phoenix’s fire transformation,

burn nadir to zenith to forge new foundations.

So people whose rights are denied by false laws

can embody the truth, innate rights transcend all.

Create whole new worlds on the ashes of lies,

innately true worlds, where Phoenix’s rise!

Finally awake

Unsplash

I am finally awake and fully aware.

Half of this country has proved they don’t care,

about human rights or the freedom of others.

They don’t give a shit about daughters and mothers,

or black and brown people, or LGBTQ.

Not feeling our pain? You’ll feel it soon.

When a country guts freedom and half lose their rights,

the wound will be fatal. No rights will survive.

They prayed for Armageddon

My mind was numb with hopium. I wanted to believe,

that we’d keep moving forward, the next day we’d be relieved.

But as I stood in line to vote my gut began to know,

that once again we’d have to watch another fascist show.

We know the players very well, we’ve seen them all for years.

The Antichrist, Apprentices, the cult, brainwashed with fear.

Just like their bible told them, they would feast upon his lies.

As they project their evil, it’s themselves they all despise.

So I’ve given up my hopium, I’m choosing now to see.

For now, I’ve done all I can do to stop the evil Beast.

They prayed for Armageddon to destroy their devil’s spawn.

So I’ll sit back and watch them fight themselves until they’re gone.

Neurodivergent

Unsplash

If you feel overwhelmed when tasks become urgent,

You might just be, neurodivergent.

If you like to keep things or you’re constantly purging.

You might just be, neurodivergent.

You replay what you say and rehearse other versions,

You might just be, neurodivergent.

If you don’t like demands and they must be averted,

You might just be, neurodivergent.

If you’d rather be home and alone, introverted,

You might just be, neurodivergent.

If attention takes flight when your sight is diverted,

You might just be, Neurodivergent.

Classist systems and justice you know aren’t convergent

You might just be, Neurodivergent.

If you fight for all rights like a warrior insurgent.

You might just be, Neurodivergent.

We came to this world to transform, be emergent,

To change our direction to a new road divergent.

Caws and effects

Unsplash

For years I have worked, almost everyday,

To clear my unconscious I once hid away.

Deep fear and sadness, anger and shame,

That made me project and unconsciously blame.

Like clock work the cycles would come back around

Delusions created with feelings unbound.

But I would get signs to help me to wake.

From crows constant cawing to dreams of earthquakes.

These unconscious cues of things yet to come

I needed to feel to stop being numb

Awaken to heal so I wouldn’t project

Delusions on others and stop to reflect.

So many times now, I have been saved

From hurting my loved ones, myself, and my fate.

So I’ve learned how to stop recreating mistakes,

From the caws of the crows and effects of earthquakes.

Natives

Should our Natives, farther south,

be begging for asylum

in lands they held ten thousand years

before we could deny them?

When the white man, as invaders,

by mere presence, claimed command,

enslaving sovereign people,

and stealing native land?

Is this why their descendants

turn their backs on native souls?

Don’t want long lost survivors

reclaiming what they stole.

Until we open up our hearts,

share wealth with native people,

help all of the Americas

be prosperous and equal,

our karma for the trail of tears

will keep us building walls,

to keep out native people

who in truth should have it all.

Liberty Bell

Forever flawed, and silent bell,

A metaphor that fits us well.

Fits our Declaration’s flaw

Still, liberty is not for all.

Pursuits of happiness in life,

For many still, it’s mostly strife.

Until we all have equal rights,

The parts within our whole will fight.

Til cracks are seen in silent bells

As metaphor, and breaks the spell

Of lies that we have ever been

Free for more than just white men.

Til reparations pave the way

To live what Declaration’s say.

Self evident when all are equal,

Inalienable, all rights, all people.

Words and bells don’t make it real

True liberty, we all must feel!

I’ll gently go

Unsplash, Johannesburg Plinio

I’ll gently go to my good night

Embrace my death without a fight.

For there’s no loss in letting go

Into the clear immortal flow.

Where I’ll live on, on higher planes.

Yet still within our love remains,

In symbols wide awake or dreams

Of butterflies and flowing streams,

Connections through the days and nights

Until again we reunite ❤️

Woke mind virus

Unsplash Jehyun Sung

Why do some people use Woke as a slur

And they don’t have a clue what it means?

It’s become a dog whistle that they use to blur

The lines that they cross to demean.

But now they go lower and turn up the heat

“Woke mind virus” they made up to spread fear

They bang this new drum and don’t skip a beat

To drown out this truth and not hear.

Woke means we well know and are fully aware

That systemic racism exists.

It means we want change and means we’ll be there

With black people to shout and resist.

“Black lives matter, and never, will our march for truth tire us,

On the road that is steep we must tread.”

May the truth they deny, yet invoked, “woke mind virus”,

Be marched round the world and be spread.

In peace, side by side

Unsplash Cole Keister

Why is there no refuge in a refugee camp?

Why don’t some who’ve suffered the most understand

About innocent people once called civilians

In refugees camps where they still bomb and kill them?

This fighting must stop from the top to the ground.

Enough is enough as their pain goes around

In circular motion, tit for tat, back and forth,

Deaths way beyond even but stay the same course.

It’s time to put down all weapons of war.

It’s time to sit down and compromise more.

Get rid of the leaders who created this show

Grass roots to grass roots come together to grow.

As Abraham’s family both branches decide

To live as one people, in peace, side by side.❤️

One shoe then another

Unslplash

It seems like it’s always one shoe then another

That drops on the floor up above.

Every time one awakes me, I brace for the other

Dreading fear I’ve had quite enough of.

Why so much fear? This dread is so hard.

The bane of my very existence.

To live my life scared, always on guard

That more shoes will soon fall in an instant.

I was born with this fear frozen in pain

Passed down from past generations

I was born to release this fear that remained

Reconnecting our lost innervations.

Cry, once frozen tears that my ancestors quelled

From the constant travails they once bore

Shake out the fear my grandmother held

When at three, she was forced to ignore.

If I’m brave enough to go back and repair

The damage once done that passed down,

Kindred spirits will dance in my garden, feet bare

No more shoes need be made to cast down.

Indivisible with Liberty and Justice for All

Unsplash Matt Collamer

It is very unlikely, if you don’t have a home,

You can have any sort of stability.

With no safe place to sleep, or food of your own,

This just makes for much more disability.

For the mentally challenged, or ones drug addicted,

Or ones just down on their luck

Not to have basic needs will keep them conflicted

Between trying and just giving up.

But if, as a collective, we help one another

Pledge dignity, with conscience, for all,

We’ll make Housing First, become One with honor

Indivisible, with liberty, and justice for all❤️

Peace in our world

Unsplash Prissila Dupreez

I rarely write poems that are just about light,

I always have to include the dark night.

But most don’t like feeling the dark in a poem,

Don’t want the unconscious to trigger and show them,

Shame that is trapped by resistant denial.

Can’t hear other’s pain from facing hard trials.

The world is their oyster of happy illusion

Don’t ask and don’t tell is their world peace solution.

So we need to have earthquakes to force us from cloister.

Because next a tsunami throws sand in our oyster.

So let’s use this grit to make layers of healing.

With layers that shine we can find shameful feelings,

Then with our denial be smoothly released.

With dark and light layers we’ll make pearls of peace.

And with peace within made while creating our pearls,

We might soon have enough to make peace in our world!

How would you feel?

Unsplash Christian Lue

How would you feel as a scapegoat for millions?

If you add all religions it might be for billions.

How would you feel if they literally said

God hates who you are, and we want you dead.

How does a child who’s LGBTQ

Ever survive this collective abuse?

Do you think kids don’t feel mass rejection inside?

Do you care if they hurt and commit suicide?

For just having brains that are neurodiverse

That has nothing to do with “sin” or a curse!

Despite science proving we’re born on a spectrum.

Our bodies and brains many factors affect them.

From time in the womb to exogenous sources

Hormones and genes create different courses.

So stop making our children go through this ordeal

Love and accept them until their heart’s heal.

Then if your children are LGBTQ

You’ll nurture their nature to live lives in truth.

My Soul Resolution

Unsplash Aziz Acharki

Sometimes when I write

I have physical pain.

Words stuck in the muck

of my unconscious brain.

So I write the pain out of my head

til it’s gone.

So some of my poems

become pretty long.

I ask myself questions

but mostly ask why.

This breaks down denial

that blinds my mind’s eye.

Rhythm and rhyme start

Pulsing and clanging

unconsciously used

to start rearranging

the dissonant words

in my unconscious brain.

It pulls them together

to help me feel sane

with answers to questions

my soul needs to hear.

To make sense of my rage,

my shame, and my fear.

Close out the last lines

with coherent conclusion

an answer that gives

my soul resolution ❤️

The world can transform

Unsplash Denin Lawly

Why so much hate for trans and queer people?

What makes some so hateful they want to be lethal?

They don’t like they standup to up end status quo.

Don’t want to blend in or fit into a mold.

They’re here loud and proud unafraid to be bold.

They want to free all from young to the old.

They want to make all presentations the norm

From sun shiny day to tumultuous storm.

So nobody’s shamed when they don’t conform

Through master transmuters this world will transform ❤️

Amends

Unsplash

Amends are not just about saying you’re sorry, or owning mistakes that you make.

It’s accepting the guilt of your wrongs toward another and your will to repair your mistakes.

What does that mean, how do you do this, repair what you’ve done in the past?

We ask who we’ve wronged what would help them feel right and bring light to the shadows we cast.

What if they ask for unjust compensation and we don’t have it to give?

Sometimes what’s been done take years to repair, sometimes as long as we live.

Generational harm done by a collective is made right by repair of a system.

Then giving survivors the means to move past all the obstacles once used against them.

Reparation of systems, one’s own, or collective, will release us from unconscious fate.

Only from balance can consciousnesses flow through the heart and be used to create.❤️

Self evident Truths

Unsplash

Did our founders deny self evident truths,

When they denied many to have any pursuits?

An autonomous life was denied the enslaved.

They never had liberty the Creator gave.

There was no happy pursuit to be had.

They weren’t treated equal just equally bad.

Not one was allowed their inalienable rights.

Our founders endowed them just 3/5 a life.

Our country’s foundation was built on their backs.

Their denial of self evident truths are the facts!

Their “King’s “ Coronation

Unsplash

Meghan you tried, you outshined the rest.

But there was no way that you’d pass their test.

So the father, step mother and sibling in-laws

Tried dimming your light that exposed their deep flaws.

Yet you were their chance to break the old curse;

But then they would choose to repeat, even worse.

They could have made changes, gone a new way,

Welcomed a woman of color to stay.

Be part of their family, and heal from the past.

Make Commonwealth nations feel welcome at last.

But they let their conscious and unconscious bias,

As racism prove to the world through their silence,

That they didn’t care to protect you from harm.

So you had to leave and heed this alarm.

And still you get hate if you will or you won’t,

Are damned by the press if you do or you don’t

Go back for more hate and abuse by a Nation

To watch sycophants drool at their “King’s” coronation!

Live lives in truth

Ian Taylor Unsplash

I stand with the ones who choose to be real, who love who they love, and express how they feel.

Despite hateful liars now stealing their rights, the ones who choose truth in the end win this fight.

So stand up for the truth to be taught in all schools. Let books about true mental health be the rule.

Because being clueless does not make kids “straight”. It only makes bullies and victims of hate.

Has history borne out we’re all “straight” in the womb, until some are tricked being brainwashed and groomed?

NO, science has proved we’re all born on a spectrum; our bodies and brains, many factors affect them.

From time in the womb to exogenous sources hormones and genes create different courses.

So stop preaching hate and calling it sin. Change hate to love by healing within.

Then if your children are LGBTQ you’ll nurture their nature to live lives in truth.❤️

Woke

FPD images

I was born in the South where most choose to sleep.

Most live in a dreamworld that they want to keep.

A white privileged dream where they make the rules,

Rewriting history once taught in all schools.

Can’t teach about slavery, Jim Crowe segregation,

Dr. King’s marches, that changed our whole nation.

Can’t talk about race because that’s about blame.

White privileged deniers don’t like feeling shame.

Why can’t they admit that our system is racist?

Our country can’t thrive if we do not face this.

You can’t enslave people then put up a fight,

Be forced to free them then not make things right.

We owe the ones passed and their kin who survive

Their vote and the means to allow them to thrive,

We must teach true history so it can’t repeat.

Make voting easy so sleepers can’t cheat.

Take back free speech the sleepers revoked.

Let them scream in their “nightmare” called truth, til they’re woke.

Free Will

Unsplash

Who stacked the deck, fixed the cards I was dealt;

Oppressed my free will and emotions I felt?

♾️♾️♾️♾️♾️♾️♾️♾️♾️♾️♾️♾️♾️♾️♾️♾️

To survive in my family I couldn’t say no.

I lost all connection to body and soul.

So even when grown with no parents around

I couldn’t say no, was unconsciously bound

To react out a life with no self protections,

From boundary assaults to brutal rejections.

So as cognitive dissonance made a huge gap

My unconscious baggage fell down in my lap.

I saw how and why addiction hooks players.

Addiction is passed from unconscious creators.

Inherent ancestral control and oppression

Fuels rage and shame cycle’s addictive obsession.

For years I’ve done purges to heal shame and rage,

So my body and soul, once again, could engage.

So the fate of the cards I once thought had been sealed

Could transform through my body and soul to free will.

Experience, Strength, and Hope

Jed Nillejo

Experience, strength, and hope, not advice

Is all we should share, to say more is not wise.

No person on Earth knows what’s right for another

Not even close family, your father or mother.

So to offer advice for what others should do

Is not about them it is all about you

Projecting unconscious control from your past

Triggered to consciously heal it at last.

But instead of now healing your toxic control

You act out once again the same meddlesome role.

So unless you’ve experienced a similar fate,

And found strength within that you can relate

Enough to give hope they will find they’re own way;

Deal with your own issues, you don’t get a say.

Nurture

Xavier Moulton

I spent my whole life hoping
To be nurtured by my mother
I spent my whole life coping
Substituting with another
Acceptance from a friend
Or authorities unknown
Or I would just pretend
I was fine left on my own
So friends that I’d attract
Would do their best to care
But no one could give back
With all our cupboards bare
Unconsciously behind it all
Yet many years ahead
I felt the truth behind my wall
And suddenly felt dead
It took more than a year for me
To know the reason why
Why so much rage and fear in me
Had made my friendships die
No friend on earth can substitute
The nurture of your mother
It cannot grow without a root
Be grafted from another
The time had come to let them go
Illusions fully grieved
How could they give or even know
What they had not received
I had to start anew within
By planting my love’s seed
With nurturing it grew within
Fulfilling my own need
So one day I’ll be ready
From deep roots I’ve grown tall
As fruits of love grow steady
I then can nurture all

“Thoughts and prayers” don’t mean they care, and cannot stop insanity.

When angry teens are given means to lose their soul’s humanity.

At eighteen years, can’t buy a beer, but buys himself war weapons,

Enough to kill his prey at will, a massacre in seconds.

Children, as their stalker killed, cried HELP to save their lives.

Their plaintive words remain unheard, their help would not arrive.

As “good guns” wait with help too late the wounded children died.

While parents wept as they were kept from running to their side.

The NRA and those they pay can keep their “Thoughts and Prayers”.

Till laws and rules create safe schools they just pretend they care.

This has to change, no more deranged blind EGOS taking bribes.

Politician’s blind ambitions must be stopped this time!

America’s Pluto’s return

A metaphor for our time.

Unsplash Nasa

No wonder we chose to deny our ninth planet. The truth was soon coming so we tried to ban it.

But unconscious Karma is still coming around. So our shame and the truth we repressed can be found.

From the very first day our American dreams came true with denial of unconscious screams

Trying to wake us and tell us it’s wrong, to lie, steal, and kill to bulid nations strong.

But that’s what we did to build our new nation. We stole native’s land then enforced reservations.

We kidnapped then trafficked enslaved human beings. We worked them to death without ever feeling

The shame we deserved and worked hard to suppress that soon went unconscious to not cause distress.

So it’s not surprising when Karma reveals, hypocrites rise once again to conceal.

Lessons in books that could heal us, if learned. But the books that cause white people shame must be burned.

So we’re doomed to repeat when we ban what is true. Play out karma’s fate till we pay what is due.

Staying stuck in a cycle as shame takes us down. No hope for transcendence till truth is avowed.

But if truth is allowed to purge shame for our past. Then we will transcend, finally be Free at Last!

The Arc of the Moral Universe

Unsplash Stainless images

Does the Arc of the moral universe bend

towards Justice?

When will this Arc find it’s end?

Don’t trust this

when Justice is always pushed back

so many times our minds have lost track.

Because we’re unconscious unable to see

True Justice can never be served till we’re free

from unconscious judgement denied through projection.

Self judgment from shame caused by unjust rejections.

As children abused, our hearts hardened early

to deaden the pain we received without mercy.

But now our self judgement we learned to project

Can be owned and transformed to self love and respect.

If we heal childhood pain from injustices faced.

Faced not by just us but the whole human race.

Then we’ll feel once again when Injustice is done.

With hearts full of mercy we’ll heal one by one.

Then when critical mass ignites our mass conscience

we’ll feel Justice near and no longer beyond us.

Then Justice For ALL we thought distant, comes early.

For the Arc now bends freely to Justice through mercy.
