I have new information. I finally see, a now conscious truth I have learned about me.

My whole life I’ve held values that run really deep. My friends claim the same until time intervenes.

To show me what I have dismissed in denial. Then I finally wake up in my unconscious cycle.

All of a sudden I see things more clearly our values in common, they don’t hold, sincerely.

But, I’m choosing to stay and say what is true. No longer excuse or deflect toxic views.

It’s time to talk back be exact in my speech. Stop denying the truth to try and keep peace.

Then if they leave when they see I have changed, then I’ll know for sure that we should disengage.

Or maybe they’ll say, thank you for sharing. I wouldn’t have known, unless shown, your deep caring.

Well, now I’m ready to keep seeing what’s true. To let the chips fall where they may has come due.
