Why should I trust when the world is unjust? For years I was used and betrayed.

We are thrust through our birth, all alone, to this Earth, helpless, cold, and afraid.

To parents endowed with unquestioned power and a system replacing that role.

Most children’s trust is lost in injustice, quashed by hierarchical control.

If we can, when we’re grown we seek the unknown and begin our emotional healing.

Like I’ve done many years, so my fear could start clearing, uncovering layers revealing.

My own inner Source suppressed by the force of the ones who abused and betrayed me.

That takes years to discover then more to recover to trust Inner Source meant to save me.

So the years that I spent to build trust as I went on my journey of life, still unsure.

Life was still hard. I felt often, on guard. My dreams often delayed with detours.

But when my Inner Source became my inner voice, with time I felt guided, directed.

My confidence grew as my safety was proved. I can trust, because I now feel protected.🙏
